Yamba Event - “Surfing the Coldstream”
A colourful annual event, here in Yamba – it’s an arts festival, carnival and community celebration running for 2 ½ days. An exciting and eclectic program features everything from acrobats to gypsy jazz with snake charmers, country crooners, cheeky comics, stunning theatrical creatures, carnival drummers, sword swallowers, rock stars and belly dancers all parading their skills!
Visit Angourie
Only 5 minutes drive or walk the coastline!
Angourie is a surfer’s idea of heaven made famous in the 1960’s for having one of the best point-breaks in Australia. Even “Mr Billabong” has recently built a house on its shores to make the most of one of the best surf spots in the world! The Blue Pool in Angourie is a popular swimming hole and is reached by a walking track offering plenty of areas for picnicking.

Only 20 minutes drive west of Yamba
Maclean has a distinctive Scottish charm complete with tartan painted telegraph poles, a Scottish shops, and various antiques. Enjoy al fresco dining, amongst beautifully restored federation buildings. A must-see is the annual Easter Highland Gathering where the town celebrates its heritage with pipe bands, log wrestling and highland dancing.
